The American Legion National Commander to visit district 8!
The National Commander will begin his visit to District 8 at Post 166 on Saint Simons Island Ga. with a meet and greet beginning at 9:00 am and a light breakfast. He will be here for roughly 2 hours.
Next he will arive at Post 137 in Darien GA. at 11:30 am for a meet and greet followed by a light lunch. Here a presentation on americanism will be made before he retires to his hotel to rest before dinner at post 9
Finally he will arrive at Post 9 for dinner at about 6:00 pm. Post 9 and Post 507 are co-hosting this RSVP only Dinner. while here a proclamation will be read, visitors introduced and a presentation on V.A and Rehabilitation will be presented.
